Developing your understanding of pedagogy

You are to write a 1500 word synopsis of at least 3 readings from those covered in the first weeks of this unit, or others with a direct relationship to Pedagogy.

Examples can be found in the Resources section of this site – ensure you chose published academic resources; websites may be used to support your understandings but

are not to be used as set readings. Check with your tutor if unsure.
Begin with a brief overview of each reading, including the key ideas and the position taken and expressed by the author/s in regards to Pedagogy. this may include

varied definitions and/or understandings of related terms
Then, thinking about these readings, and drawing on your class/lecture notes and understandings from seminars and activities, consider the following:
• What did you learn from these readings?
• What do these readings make you wonder, or want to know more about?
• What are the implications for your teaching practice?
