Carefully read and analyze the essay by Ravisankar on pp. 117–118 in your Practical Argument textbook. After considering the rhetorical situation, means of persuasion, and rhetorical strategies, complete a rhetorical analysis including evidence to support your opinion.

Note: See complete instructions below

As you compose your rhetorical analysis, be sure to:

a. Review the “Template for Writing a Rhetorical Analysis” on page 119.

b. Consider the argument’s rhetorical situation, the writer’s means of persuasion, and the rhetorical strategies that the writer uses.

c. End your rhetorical analysis with an assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of Ravisankar’s argument.

d. Cite all references in the documentation style related to your major course of study (MLA, APA, or Turabian).

e. Include 250–300 words. (This parameter helps to promote writing that is thorough yet concise enough to permit your classmates to read all the submissions.)

f. Write MLA, APA, or Turabian in the title of your thread as follows: Title – Citation style (e.g., “Sweatshop Oppression: A Rhetorical Analysis – APA”). Check A Writer’s Reference to verify your citations.

g. Review the Discussion Board Forum Grading Rubric before submitting.
