The ideas you shared with your colleagues in this week’s Discussion may have helped to clarify your vision for your new early childhood program. Most likely, your vision will grow and change as you learn more throughout this course and your career. However, with your current vision in mind, you can begin laying the foundation of your program. A strong foundation provides a solid base on which to build a high-quality program.

You will decide the type of program you will offer and the key logistical and socio-cultural factors to consider. You also will articulate your vision for the program, develop a mission statement, and analyze how having a vision and a mission statement influences early childhood programs.
