BIO TERM PAPER 102

This term paper is due in 7 hours (9:30am eastern time). It needs to be 3 pages on one of the suggested topics listed below. Please let me know your best rate and how soon you can have it completed.

Requirements:

1. The paper must be at least 3 pages (single spaced) in length and must be typed.

2. The information in your paper must include basic physiological information. Generalities are not sufficient.

3. At least two scientific references are required.

4. Summarize the information from your reference sources and write in your own words. Do NOT plagiarize by copying directly from your source.

5. You may use your General Biology textbook as one reference for your paper. You must supplement it with information from another scientific source. Only one General Biology text may be used; other references must be sources other than Biology texts.

Additional print reference sources must be books that would be found in the science section, not in a general interest section of the library, that is, they must be reliable scientific sources. Or you may use as your source a journal such as Scientific American or Natural History or any other science journal.

6. You may use one or more Internet sources, but that is in addition to the scientific source that you will select other than your textbook, that is, the Internet source will be a third reference.

7. The following sources are not acceptable as reference sources for your paper:

Newspapers
Popular magazines, such as Prevention, Vegetarian Times, Time, Reader’s Digest, Runner’s World
Pamphlets, or their equivalent on the internet
General encyclopedias, such as World Book. (Online Britannica is okay to use.)

Referencing information:
8. Your references must be properly cited in the body of the paper, using scientific reference type format (name-date, not page number). Directions for reference citation are found in the Appendix of the Study Guide/Lab Manual on page A-4.

Use Online reference guide for any further information that you need for your referencing. Under 8a, “Using CSE In-text Citation Style”, follow directions given in #2 The name-year system. The proper formats to use for listing the references that you found on the web can also be found on the CSE website
