Proposal Argument

We are discussing topics for the proposal in the discussion forum. Your topic must be preapproved (in the discussion forum), practical, focused, and local. This gives you an opportunity to use primary sources (people who are experts in the field that you interview, surveys, etc.), scholarly sources, newspaper accounts, etc. Please use the outline below as your prompt for the assignment. You must adhere to the outline. Remember that you are to cite your sources anytime you directly quote material or closely use the ideas of the author through paraphrasing. You want to keep in mind that these types of arguments explain existing, local problems, suggest solutions, and determine feasibility of this solution.

   Times New Roman 12pt. Font
   Any point of view (Only use the first person if you have a direct connection with the issue. If you do not then it is best to use the third person point of view.)
   At least 3 sources: 1 primary source (someone you actually speak to via interview or observation; survey/questionnaire you create and distribute; etc.); 1 reliable internet source; 1 optional source (You can pick an additional source of your choice. This may be a newspaper article, magazine, academic journal, or anything else you choose if it is reliable and trustworthy. Be prepared to justify reliability.)
   Appropriate format for MLA or APA style, including Works Cited or Reference Page
   Use of headings for each section; use of subheadings for subsections within each section
   5-7 pages(not counting Works Cited)
