You can access the income statement by going to the Yahoo! Finance website, typing in the stock symbol of your organization, and then clicking on the Financials tab.

Reviewing financial statements will provide you with data to conduct a number of calculations that will allow you to provide a comprehensive financial statement analysis. This week, you will be charged with analyzing the financial health of your chosen company.

In your paper,

• Calculate the following ratios:
  • Net profit margin
  • Gross profit margin
  • Current ratio
  • Quick ratio
  • Debt to equity
  • Total debt
  • Financial leverage
  • Cash return on assets
  • Cash return on equity
  • Debt coverage
  • Interest coverage
• Evaluate the company’s profitability, financial performance, and financial strength based on the ratios calculated above.
• Recommend three areas that the company could improve in order to strengthen its financial position based on the ratios calculated above.
