Instructions: Each student will be required to research specific hotel companies and report on the following information:
- A brief overview of the hotel company (20 Points)
- State the brands that are a part of the hotel company (5 Points)
- Within each brand discuss: (30 Points)
o Its classification according to market segment
o The target market it is trying to reach
o The level of service and amenities offered that would appeal to the targeted market? Basically, how do they accommodate their target market?
- How the hotel company is trying to be more sustainable? Is there a particular brand(s) where this is a focus? (20 Points)
- How is the company utilizing technology to improve service? (20 Points)
- One unique and different thing you found out about the hotel company. (5 points)
Requirement: 1. Typed, double spaced, Time New Roman 12 point font with 1 inch margins paper. No required length, but approximately 4-6 pages.
- A brief (approximately 10 minute) PowerPoint presentation on your findings
