For this assignment, you apply what you have learned so far to design your own small business that exemplifies sustainable practices. Write an informal business plan that includes the following components:

• Describe your business, including your size, location, and customer base
• Evaluate at least two similar businesses in your selected industry. How would your business exemplify sustainable practices in a unique way?
• Define your business’ values and mission
• Prescribe sustainable solutions in your business strategy. What investments would you make?
• Describe the building where your business is housed. What elements would be considered sustainable?

Review the resources from this unit for ideas of what you can address in your plan. Your business plan must include:

• A title page with the following:
  • Title of paper
  • Name
  • Course name and number
  • Instructor’s name
  • Date
• An introduction and conclusion paragraph. The introduction should include the background and purpose of your plan. The conclusion should summarize the plan.
• A separate References page. You must use at least two scholarly, peer-reviewed, and/or credible sources. Refer to the General APA Guidelines from Purdue Owl for more information.

Your paper must be 3-4 pages in APA format, excluding title and References pages.
