DJCAE 100Compare and Contrast Essay
- Write a 1000 word essay.
- Submit a formal outline in the MLA format (from handout and/or book).
- Final copy will also be submitted on Livetext.
- 4. Essay should include introduction with a thesis statement,title in italics of boths films and the directors.
- Bodyincludesexamples from each film with the ethical decision being made.
- Include quotes from the films as evidence.
- Conclusionincludes all aspects and reflection with the ethical decisions.
- Do not do any research. Ideas should come from you and the film. Think about it.
- Only research is from the films. Theseare your primary sources. There must be quotes from the films. The films must be cited correctly using the MLA format as a Works Cited at the end of the paper.
- No first person “I” point of view.
- 11. Mode is Compare & Contrast. Write about the similarities, differences, or both.Must follow block or alternating pattern format.
- 12. Topic is your choice of one set of thetwo films from the list of sets. Chooseone of the groups of two films from the sets of two.
- Compare and/or contrast the ethical decision of each character. What was the event that led the characters to their decision? What was the decision? How did each character reach his or her decision? How was the film effective in conveying this?
