Welcome to the course.  Here we go.  This unit is the continuation of your undergraduate study in toxicology.  Things to remember are that there are many sub disciplines in toxicology.  There are 4 ways for the toxins to get into our bodies.  There are many different ways the body tries to detox itself.  Anytime we deal with the environment we are dealing with potential toxins.  Read carefully the textbook chapters here.  Get a good grip on this information for the PPTX you will have to do here.  I am looking at the PPTX for several things: graphics, no more than 6 bullet points per slide, citations on each slide if needed, reference slide, title slide, and interesting background.  And also remember that you are teaching this stuff to others.  Make it entertaining!  Think about being the student watching your PPTX.  Is it worth your time as a student?  What would make it worth your time?  Good luck.

Prepare an eight- to ten-slide PowerPoint Presentation discussing the roles of 5-7 sub disciplines of toxicology and the connection these sub disciplines have in occupational health and safety. Be sure to cite references on your last slide in proper APA format. You may either utilize the speaker’s notes feature to type the script of what you would say if you were to present the PowerPoint to your classmates or record your voice speaking within the PowerPoint Presentation.
