“Evaluation Process: Create measurement plans in advance for your marketing campaign. Since you will not actually execute your campaign, it cannot be measured. However, you must still create the measurement plan in advance. This plan is the final element that will be included in your Campaign Report and should consider how the overall success of the campaign should be measured. This Evaluation Process should include different levels of measurement. For example, if a tactic is to use social media tools and increase followers, what tool will measure these additional followers? Evaluation methods should also be included for the goals. For instance, if your goal is to increase ticket sales, how will that be measured? Be sure to include details.
Some questions to be considered include:
a) When developing your campaign, what goals did you hope to achieve? What will you measure?
b) How will you measure whether or not you achieved those goals? Will you measure activities (number of press releases) or outcomes (a change in attitude or behavior)?
c) What tools and methods are available for you to measure the success/effectiveness of your campaign (web analytics, surveys, sales volume)?
d) Why are your chosen tools the best/most effective choices?
e) What will the results of these measurements tell you?
f) How will they be used in your company/organization?
g) How will the results be presented and to whom?
You should complete any research necessary to determine the most effective measurement techniques for your campaign type and objectives.”
I am attaching the situation analysis and campaign proposal as reference. I am also attaching an evaluation report sample for a different company to get an idea of how the document should look.
