As part of management planning, companies starting up need to define their vision, their mission, and their company goals that they will endeavor to meet both in the short and long term.
For this assignment you will be using the “Tim’s Coffee Shoppe” scenario from the Final Project. This business simulation will be referenced throughout this course as you work on various aspects of your assignments.
Access Tim’s Coffee Shoppe via link below. After viewing the scenario address the following checklist items in an 8 slide PowerPoint presentation:

Decide on a Vision statement and three bulleted goals for the next year (short term), and three bulleted goals for the long term (the next 3 years).
Provide a short explanation of how Tim’s Coffee Shoppe can reach each of these goals.
Define the tasks and responsibilities of managers in general and Tim as owner of the Coffee Shoppe in particular.
Look at the employees files in the Unit 9 Final Project scenario file cabinet. Then define the tasks and responsibilities of each employee at Tim’s Coffee Shoppe.
You will look at the differences between the Vision statement (you completed in PART1) and the Mission statement by doing some research on the Internet. Then decide on an appropriate mission statement for the business. You will revise the company goals as well as tasks and responsibilities of the employees and Tim based on your Mission statement and Vision statement.
Respond in a minimum of 3 pages in APA format that includes a title page and references page (at the end)
