it is very important that teachers support all students even those with health impairments and infectious diseases. It is equally important that they do this without endangering the safety of the other students in the classroom. This is very tricky but can be done. The teacher needs to first make sure that he or she has all of the information on the impairment or infectious disease. The administration should ensure that the proper training has happened but if it has not then the teacher needs to make sure that administration is aware. When dealing with infectious disease it is very important that there is a lot of hand washing to prevent the spread of germs. There should be good communication between the parents, health care professionals and all teachers and staff working with the student with the impairment and or infectious disease. The communication factor will help everyone involved stay on the same page to help all students in the classroom. Making sure that the information is up to date and clear is very important in making sure that everyone is safe.
