My name is Naimah Williams, I live in the lovely state of Alabama. I am a thirty seven years old wife of fourteen years and mother of four soon to be five wonderful children. I have three boys 12,10.and 9. My 10 year old old has special needs and we have had a challenging but blessed life. I also have a little girl, my princess who is 6 years old and our new little man will be here in october. I have a wonderful family that God has blessed me with and would want nothing better than to make life even better four them and that is one reason I have worked so hard to finish school.
I started college right out of high school but for medical reason I was unable to accomplish my goal; I have also tried many times since then but did not make it and than marriage came and a family quickly started and I even started again in all that but was unsucessful so I said to to myself I will accomplish my goal and I set me a plan, I decided to go back to school when my baby went to school and that is what I did and so now I am three classes including this one from completing my A.A. in Early Childhood.
I’ve always wanted to be a teacher working with children has always been my passion. I have work with children all my life in church, in my family and in my community. I worked in daycare with my mom as a late teenager and young adult ages, it was an exciting and rewarding job. After having my 10 year old I expanding my field to include speech theapy. I chose this because I found it fasinating as I watched them work with my son. I also like that it can be a job that is school based or even clinic based. I plann to offer it in my daycare setting.
One of the most interesting eduation classes I have had was the ELL class; I found this to be so interesting because because it taught a lot about work ing with diverse cultures of students and how to accomplish what they need to accomplish in their learning experience.
I hope to learn more techniques of how to bring the best out of the children and how to express in many ways to be able to successful rech them all and their families.
