The purpose of this paper is for you to synthesize and apply your knowledge and understanding of the assigned readings and class content to each of the identified FPLS standards taught in this course which are located in the syllabus. Each standard should be discussed on how information gained in this course ties into the specific standard. You are not to simply list the standards and write your discussion. The expectation is that you write a cogent essay that informs the reader on what you have learned in this class as it pertains to each standard.

The following are writing expectations for your submission:

• A thoughtful and reflective paper that is no more than 3 pages in length, excluding a cover page and reference page

  • Note: papers longer than 3 pages will be reduced by 5 points (no exceptions!)

• 12 pt. Times New Roman Font

• Citing, using APA 6th Edition style (cite text sources and outside sources as you utilize research to support your summary)

• UCF style

  • A cover page with a running header, including the title of the paper, your name, instructor’s name, and university affiliation (UCF)

  • A separate List of References page that is correctly formatted

• Error Free
