Theoretical Framework and Research Method
Theoretical Framework and Research Method:
Write a “Theoretical Framework” section (one paragraph), and “Research Method” section. The theoretical framework is an overview of the theory or theories to be applied in your content analysis. Apply theories functionalism, conflict, social constructionism, and feminist theory. Provide a brief summary of key tenets and concepts of the theories you intend to apply, and how the theories specifically inform your analysis of inequality.
The research method section is a brief summary of the empirical method of analysis showing how you will obtain knowledge of inequality in China. Access research articles, Google Scholar will help, but you would also do very well to interview by phone, email or in person people who know about inequality in China. Summarize your intended method and briefly explain why it is an appropriate strategy to study your research topic.
