Here’s another media centric one.Choose one concept or theory that we discussed this week. Next I want you to pick a scene from a TV show or movie that you think illustrates the concept or theory that you chose. Define and describe the concept that you chose and then set the scene and tell me how it depicts your chosen theory of communication (if you can easily find a link to a clip of the scene include it). An example: The textbook talks about , or the tendency towards a deliberating style where members of a group worry more about agreement and unanimity and avoid conflict, disagreement, and an exploration of a variety of options. In the film  (a great movie, if you haven’t seen it I highly recommend watching the original black and white version) there are several jury room scenes that illustrate aspects of . To complete the assignment I could talk more  about these scenes and the primary symptoms of  that they illustrate. (You can use  but not the  example).Work place comedies like , , , and  have great examples of communication in organizations. Sports movies have great examples of communication in teams.
