“A lie told often enough becomes the truth.â€
― Vladimir Lenin
What do you make of this quote from Vladimir Lenin? We are interesting times when our current President of the USA has been caught in over 3,000 lies. Does this mean that these lies have now become truth? If so, what then becomes of truth and integrity? Are these no longer American values?
Consider this quote and review the sources below as you frame your responses to the following questions in 300-500 words:
1. Do you think the media is effectively covering the lies and alternative facts generated by the Trump Administration? Is fact checking available to most Americans? Do lies really matter to Americans anymore?
2. Do you think our international allies feel they can continue to trust America? Why or Why not?
3. What do you think our President is teaching American youth about honesty and integrity? Do you think these lies have any influence on our youth? Why or Why not?
I encourage you to do additional research but I am posting several links (click on them they are in blue) and videos and articles that may assist you with your responses.
