You have been hired to develop a stress reduction program incorporating both relaxation techniques and physical exercises that can be utilized by individuals and in group sessions several days a week at work. General Project Guidelines:

You can divide your paper into three sections. The first section is titled “Introduction,” and briefly (several paragraphs) explains the statement of the problem to be overcome. The second (Discussion) explains in sequential order the steps that you will follow to solve the problem. The third section (Conclusions) can be no more than one or two paragraphs summarizing what you have just proposed before the References final page.

Remember that the goal of this assignment is to present a “real world”(realistic) solution to treating stress issues in an auto dealership. Before you recommend an exercise program, such as jogging or aerobics, for example, make sure you first establish a health-screening program. Some of the workers might be middle-aged men already on heart medication. Even deep meditation might be dangerous to such cases! How would aggressive, competitive, middle aged Type A salesmen react to a recommendation that they practice yoga? Consider all aspects of a treatment program, including those procedures they can follow at home and away from the workplace (such as diet) as well as those they can do at work (such as Cooper’s Instant Calming Sequence or progressive muscle relaxation).

When you recommend a specific program, be sure to add the citation from the scientific literature that supports your recommendation.
