Data Warehousing
Data warehousing is a database that is applicable in reporting. The data is acquired from the operational framework for the purpose of reporting. It goes into the operational storage point for more action prior to application in reporting (Quigley, 2008). The process applies its task in the three sections; staging, integration and access.

There are a number of issues that are connected to this process. For one to keep the integrity of all the data, one has to fill the data warehouse with data into the varied operational models. This process is quite difficult. Another issue is the complexity associated to altering the model of the data warehouse if the company using the model opts to change it operations.

The data warehouse offers a common data model for every data used irrespective of where they come from, this enables reporting and assessment in a simpler manner, in regards to having several data models (Wang, 2006).

Data Mining involves acquisition of trends from huge data sets through the integration of techniques from technical intelligence with the help of database management (Quigley, 2008). With the rise of technical aspects, data mining is a growing tool that changes digital tools into business intelligence hence advancing it.

The data sets that are handled by data mining have issues in the line of privacy, legality and ethics. Varied companies; ADVISE and others have raised issued in regards to privacy. The process applied may affect the integrity of data like through data aggregation.
- Benefits and solutions
Data mining has a number of benefits among them, is the noting of the attributes of the most competent staff, this can be used in issuing rewards or promotion (Wang, 2006). In science it can be used to acquire the connection in human DNA and diseases hence lead to getting the right diagnosis.
For the issues raised, the user has to be conscious of the data aspects; purpose, application and users before they are able to use this process.
