This is a group assignment related to a global marketing project. our product is Ginger beer and the targeted country is Saudi Arabia.my part in this assignment is pricing strategy. in my part i should talk about three points:
7.3.1 Factors affecting pricing decision
7.3.2 Terms of pricing (e.g., the exact price and how it is set up)
7.3.3 Terms of payment
I will be uploading the assignment that we are working on so far so you can be clear on the whole thing and try to make my part relevant to the whole thing.
Also I will be uploading the lectures slides for the pricing topic
and you should relate to the main reference which is a textbook called Global Marketing a decision-oriented approach by Svend Hollensen.2011
so for the first point in my part external and internal factors you should read the factors in the lecture notes and read the assignment and try to apply them in the part.
The factors are two kinds: internals and externals.
I’d like you to write one paragraph for each.
for the second point ( Term of pricing) you can relate to the lecture notes and to the assignment under 6.2 Financial Objectives section. the strategy chosen to set up the price is ( Penetration pricing-deliberating offering products at low prices to stimulate market growth and capture market shares) so illustrate on this please before you talk about the price.
for the last one( terms of payment) the lecture notes and the text book is the main reference and the assignment as well.
