Human Nature

Emotions and feelings control human beings. The way an individual feels about an idea or something might be determined by a prior scene where the person witnessed the same scenario or close to the current situation. People’s minds are prone to be easily triggered into decisions based on other people’s actions, where the results of any action taken by an individual are believed to make an impact on another person who is close to the first doer. Most people tend to feel comfortable doing what they witnessed from other people, based on the level of trust they have for one another. On feelings, certain happenings might have taken place a long time ago but still ring in people’s mindsets. In such cases, people may either be afraid or bold to take any action on something based on what they expect from previous situations (Wrightsman, 746).

Unfortunately, some people live to impress others. Such actions influence what people think or say, which later determines how people relate with one another, as they may end up making decisions related to what they saw or heard. Living a life of impression means doing things or participating in activities whereby the actions that have been done are publicly displayed to other people (Adler, 45). How people feel about actions done by other people may influence their choices, hence confirming that impressions can be a significant cause of why human beings make some conclusions. Personal feelings may still affect the decision made by an individual. How a person feels about an issue may lead them to take any action to bring comfort or satisfaction.

People always have ideas in their minds, meaning that everything in their minds is controlled by what the brain is working on. Ideas are classified into many categories, where philosophers mainly base their arguments on the simplicity or complexity of an idea. Ideas may pile up in their minds regarding what an individual saw, where they might find themselves in a critical condition of making hard choices (Cooley, 60). Complexity brings out hard decisions where individuals are put in a position of making tough decisions due to the heaviness of the idea. On the other hand, simple ideas are ordinary imaginations that do not let the individual overthink too much on an issue. Such ideas are generally derived from simple happenings, where no complexity is involved in making decisions.

In this world, people who are sound of mind have their way of understanding things and critically making decisions out of them (Wilson, 57). Some may take a little time to get the actual definition or reason of a particular happening, while others may take a concise duration to get to the facts on why a specific action took place. How an individual sees or understands an issue may be termed as perception. In other words, perception is the general feeling on how a person concludes on a specific happening or action taken. People have different perspectives; hence their differences in what they think determine how they make their decisions. People should understand that what a person sees in an idea is not what another person may see; hence there should be a mutual understanding that people think or see differently.

There are groups of people who mainly believe that the facts they conclude for themselves are accurate and that they should probably be considered by other people (Cooley, 60). These people are known as philosophers, who believe in having learned a lot about nature and how people relate with one another in society. These people study the behavior and relationship of different people keenly and then make a decision based on what they have observed in their findings. Philosophers are widely known for convincing people as they always use facts that they do not consider any other person’s idea or perspective on the issue.

Philosophers believe in their perception; hence, all their arguments do not usually consider what other people have to say concerning an idea or issue concerning society (Cooley, 34). They always have trust in themselves so that they do not trust or consider any other opinions as they take enough time in analyzing their facts. Philosophers are always sure that whatever decision they make influences or relates to the life of the people around them. However, they still disagree on involving people’s ideas to their conclusions.

Philosophers are the type of people who usually take their time in analyzing their facts; thus, they typically use their usual way of learning thoroughly about an idea in the society, and then they make decisions which help some people in solving their problems (Adler, 45). These people usually choose a particular topic in the community; they run a deep investigation and how it affects the people then launch their conclusions according to what they feel or see. These findings are always arranged in a certain way, which proves some people believe what they think while others disagree. Lastly, what people think or do is mainly determined by nature. As much as it looks easier, convincing someone to take any action based on your thoughts and feelings might become complex as people think and act differently.
