Introduction

As we all know, current days are very challenging for insitutions of higher learning across the United States, and John Carroll University is not an exception. Nearly each aspect of education has been impacted as country face global and economic recession. In several ways, the current regression has resulted to sharper aim at the myriad of several obstacles facing John Caroll University. Changing demographics, increasing charges of operation, and pressure for transparency and accountability characterize the governing environment through which University currently operates. These pressures shall clearly necessitate transfornations and the University is trying to find new means of improving learning and teaching, advancing creativity and discovery as well as serving several students while becoming an effective and efficient institution.

Strategic plan

To achieve these goals which shall include offering an online learning not only for undergraduate but also postgraduate courses, the school expect to hold several fundraising events so as to be in position to grant students from poor back ground various partial and full scholarships. Also, through the press,the school is requesting people of good will to come up and grant finances to support development projects. This is because, the school used to get donations from missionaries but of late mission work has reduced due to recent crises in church leading to decreased funding.

As graduates tend to become readily available in the economy, more friction is experienced in the job market matching process. Several graduates perceive getting a diploma or degree as the pinnacle of achieving but they hardly realise that the working place demands more than papers. Of late we have heard degree holders being victims of retrenchment because advancing technology has been stealing jobs. Consequently, the management of John Caroll University aims at upgrading its teaching curriculum such that students will be trained on how to create own jobs after school other than hunting the rare white collar jobs.

Through PR plan, the school aims at increasing the number of international students. This is because we believe that promoting education in both domestic and international sectors will serve as the base of enhancing sustainable development and growth of the University. Therefore great efforts will be placed on training our lecturers further to sharpen their acquired skills. Through this they will be expected to  impact knowledge and understanding into the already growing number of students , who shall serve as the future managers and leaders.

People are requested to sacrifice by all means they can and contribute wholeheartedly to aid excellence of becoming a more learner centered institution. The contributions will be used to invest and build upon the major sectors of strengths in the lines of societal importance. This is because expansion of accessing the education and knowledge to the students and citizens of Ohio State, the country, and the globe will reconstruct their way of approaching problems whenever they arise. The presidency PR plan is all about helping the insitution streamline procedures, raise productivity, and upgrading the stewards of John Carroll physical and fiscal resources and finally emerge as the strongest university.

Conclusion

Upon achieveing the targets of PR plan, John Carroll University will achieve the desire of becoming a world university, committing its efforts to excelling with a vision of educating leaders and creating knowledge for the good of tomorrow. However, series of fund raising events must be held if these dreams will become practical.
