Part 1: Sociological Concepts and Theories (4 to 6 pages)

2.1. First Theory/Concept. Present the theory/concept in great details. Illustrate by at least two quotes from the authors who created this theory.

2.2. Transition. Write a paragraph explaining how you connect the first theory/concept to the second one.

2.3. Second Theory/Concept. Present the theory/concept in great details. Illustrate by at least two quotes from the authors who created this theory.

2.4. Transition. Write a paragraph explaining how you connect the first theory/concept to the second one.

2.5. Third Theory/Concept. Present the theory/concept in great details. Illustrate by at least two quotes from the authors who created this theory.

Part 2: Operationalization (2 to 4 pages)

3.1. Restate your research question

3.2. Conceptualization (process of refining the definition of the a concept/theory to allow for operationalization)

3.3. Select specific variables and explain them

3.4. Create Operational definitions (Operationalize the variable to observe and measure the situation)

3.5. Create hypothesis for each operational definition (describe what you think you will find)

3.6. Create a visual help like the one included below.

Conclusion (1 to 2 pages)

4.1. Include all the ideas which came to your mind during this research project but that you were not able to include in your paper because it had challenged the cohesion and comprehension of your work.

4.2. Explain how you will conduct this research before graduating from Eastern.

4.3. Discuss what courses you should take to receive help doing this research.
