When I learned of your need for an experienced stylist, I felt the urge to send you my resume for consideration. I am interested in the position as it appeals directly to my passion and provides hands-on experience in fashion design, which will help in building my career. It was an excellent opportunity to learn the various responsibilities of the personnel and to develop teamwork skills as every role counts in producing the best design. My responsibilities included a selection of fabrics and trims for clients, developing patterns and taking part in fittings, detailing and adaptations of sewn garments according to the specifics of clients, and for presentations and shows. I also helped in the marketing of developed accessories and negotiate with customers and suppliers to ensure consumer satisfaction and quality products that meet market needs.

I am a productive worker and possess artistic skills in designing clothes and color combinations to develop garments and designs according to clients’ needs. I also possess creative skills hence able to put together outfits and make them attractive for the public. Having had experience working in a design house, I acquired communication skills to deal with clients and to negotiate during marketing. I have a sense of style; hence I can put together outfits in different ways and stunning outcomes for various occasions. Application of my knowledge in fashion trends, color schemes, and designer labels helps enhance creativity and innovativeness in my work.

In my current project, I am working on producing fashion design knitwear using digital technologies and woven textiles with different technical specifications and styles. This is through the cutting of patterns based on an individual approach to knitwear production. I plan to create a collection of knitwear after completion of the project and present them to the public for purchase and new client’s ideas. Job Interview Presentation

My promotional portfolio is made up of a set of pictures showing my skills and application of concepts in the fashion and styling industry.

The first picture shows my fabric cutting and fitting skill of a top of a dress. It is a sleeveless dress; hence the fabric is cut with the U pattern. From the job description, you need an individual with cutting out fabric skills; hence I presume I will make the right candidate for the position.

The second photo is a men’s knitwear sweater with color combinations red black, which brings out an elegance look. Fashion requires appropriate color combinations; therefore, with the skill and knowledge I have on colors, and I can be of significant contribution while working with other designers.

The third photo is a knitwear dress from my current project. Knitwear may be considered an old fashion, but when knitted with fashion design and skill, it produces discerning wear for any occasion. With the innovation skill I possess, I could help improve old designs to create something new for the market.

The fourth photo is a sketch of a wedding gown, without a tail. The side design at the waist brings out a winsome look for a person’s memorable day. With the skill of technical drawing, I can work with the team to create a collection of designs for clients.

The fifth and sixth designs are female dresses for a party or even dinner. The dresses have unique designs at the bottom, showing a bossy look hence bringing out the elegance of an iron lady. The dresses are created with unique designs for female clients.

The creativity and innovative skills I possess, as well as the ability to sketch different designs for both male and female wears, will be an excellent resource for the company. Also, I have been working with clients in the negotiation of costs and taking clients’ orders; hence I can analyze client ranges and determine customer wants. Analyzing the market is also my strength in developing new trends and designs that consumers may be interested in.
