Personal Reflection #1In what ways have you experienced change in an organization or school? Have you led or facilitated change? Have you been on the receiving end of change? Reflect on your current capacity to lead change in a school or organization. What do you think are your strengths and areas of growth? What are your next steps in growing as a change agent?Use one of the following options to create your journal entry:Create a written reflection journalUse Jing reflection using a screencastUse Voki to create a reflection using a talking avatar Participate in a peer dialogue reflection (where you discuss the questions above with a peer or colleague and write a reflection based on your discussionThought LeadersIn our readings this week, we learned about the importance of identifying stakeholders involved in school or organizational change. In the article Keys to Engaging Thought Leaders by Crow (2012), these concepts are extended to considering how thought leaders may be involved in change in an organization. Read this article and watch the TED Talk (2009) video Bill Gates on Mosquitos, Malaria and Education. Discuss the organization and problem you are interested in influencing and discuss how you might conceive engaging thought leaders in your community. What strategies might you use to engage thought leaders? What challenges might exist? How might you overcome these challenges?Small WinsDiscuss a “small win” you have accomplished in your own life, personally or professionally. How did that experience help you to continue on a path towards change or larger goals? How did the “small win” impact your own feelings or confidence? How did it benefit you or other stakeholders? Did you notice increased buy-in or support from stakeholders after your “small win”? How does this personal experience in accomplishing “small wins” impact your abilities as a change agent in an organization?Empowering StakeholdersRead Edutopia’s Schools That Work article, The Jefferson County Public Schools Empower Educators. In this example, what are your insights on how empowering teachers and staff impacted change in this school district? Discuss a time when you felt empowered. How did you feel? How did it affect your actions and perceptions? How do you think empowering stakeholders in your own organization could impact change?

I really appreciate the work all your amazing writers do to ensure that my papers are always delivered on time and always of the highest quality. I was at a crossroads last semester and I almost dropped out of school because of the many issues that were bombarding but I am glad a friend referred me to you guys.
