1-Title: Include your proposed working title to your research paper. This can be revised later. 2-Problem/Opportunity: In two or three sentences, explain the problem/opportunity you want to research. Keep in mind that this must relate to your program of study (major) and must be connected to the concepts and learning from your program of study (major).

3-Learning Outcomes: List 3 learning outcomes. What abilities or insights do you hope to gain? What will you be able to do or know after doing your research? Please start each learning outcome with the following phrase:

4-Background: What key issues and perspectives will you explore?

5-Literature Review: List 5 sources following this format. (You will need 15 sources for your Senior Project).

Summary: Write a brief summary of the article/source.

Relevance: Describe how this article/source is relevant to the problem/ opportunity that you will research further for your Senior Project. Explain why it is important to include it or know about this article/source.

6-Method(s) of Investigation: For the purposes of this course and your future Senior Project you will be conducting your research using secondary sources. You WILL NOT be using human subjects/research participants. That said, you still need to describe how you will go about finding your sources. Describe your process. Walk me through what you plan on doing as you try to research the problem/opportunity. What thoughts do you have about your own process? Please share them under this section.
