Project Requirements As an IT consultant, you have been contracted to research and report on an IT management issue. The unrealistic part is that you get to choose the management issue. Your term paper assignment is to produce a final report to be presented to upper management. It should explain the issue; suggest a course of action and present logical, researched arguments that defend your choice of action. It should end with a strong conclusion giving management the ability to make a clear, strategic decision. Use a standard term paper format for this research report. I expect this report to be written at a 4th-year level. Use all of the suggestions, criticisms, etc. from all your previous assignments along with the formal instruction from your communications courses. If in doubt, you should obtain some assistance from the writing center in the library. You must work alone on this project. Some of the best reports might be used in future classes as examples of management issues. You will be given credit for your effort. If there is something confidential in your report, you must point this out on the very first page of the assignment.
