Cause and Effect Essay This week we have learned about how to write a cause and effect essay. Cause and effect essays describe the reasons (causes) and consequences (effects) of why something happened, or what happens as a result of some event or incident. After reading the cause and effect essay, the reader should be able to see the link between the cause and effects of an event or circumstance. Directions: Write an essay on one of the following topics. The goal is for you to show the link between the cause and effect of an event or circumstance. Explain how something that happened to you affected your life. Establish the connection between the event and the effect it has had on your life and perceptions. Include all the relevant historical details. Using cause-and-effect reasoning, explain how a political event has caused a change in your life or the life of someone you know. Establish the connection between the event and the change that it caused. Please follow the formatting guidelines below: It must be no less than 4 pages in length. It must have an introduction, body, and conclusion. It must give describe the circumstances and that are or resulted from the cause It must explain how and why the cause brought about the effect You must follow standard conventions of English (i.e., grammar, syntax, and spelling) The essay must be typed, double spaced using Times New Roman Font.
