I was working on my thesis but, I would like to know if I am on the right track. this is what my instructor requested, Introduction to Topic: Refer to the Final Research Project guidelines for your topic selection. For your introduction, you should write a 150-word paragraph which clearly explains the topic, the importance of further research, ethical implications, and how the topic relates to one’s academic and professional pursuits. Make sure you effectively inform the reader of the rationale behind your topic. Thesis statement: Write a direct and concise thesis statement, which will become the point or perspective you will argue or prove in the Final Research Project. A thesis statement should be a single declarative sentence that makes one point in 25 words or less. The thesis statement must appear within the introduction paragraph. My Introduction so far: Immigration reform is one of the most talk about in the country. For many years there has been a debate on immigration reform on how they can create better system to improve our borders. People come to the United States to seek freedom and opportunities for a better life. The Government are always setting rules for legal immigration, the debates are always being pushed back and forth. Meanwhile the millions of undocumented immigrants in the United States are afraid of what the out come of their future will become. In this research paper I will discuss further the Immigration reform and the political debate.
