Our Loss of Wisdom Barry Schwartz Egoism and Virtue Ethics
Please watch this video from ted.com. It is a talk given by Barry Schwartz, titled “Barry Schwartz on our loss of wisdom” (Time: 20:49), in which Schwartz discusses virtue ethics in a modern day context. You may use his talk as an example when writing your paper and you will have to react to this talk for your discussion.
Based upon your viewing of the talk by Barry Schwartz, please provide your reaction to his talk. In particular, provide one example of something he said that you think is very important and explain why you think it is important. This discussion will help to clarify your understanding of virtue ethics.
