Joe’s friends are arranging his bachelor party, which they plan to have at a hotel in the city. Stan suggests that they have strippers come over and perform for the group. Dave does not like this idea and says, “Stripping is no different than prostitution. It’s immoral sex work and it’s also sexist and it exploits women.” Stan responds, “For one thing, I don’t think stripping and prostitution are the same. For another, prostitution is legal in a lot of countries and even in some parts of Nevada. Besides that, people have the right to choose whatever they want to do with their bodies.” Ethically assess this conversation. Do you think that stripping and prostitution are the same?
