For this assignment, you will interview two teachers who teach at the grade level of your choice. From the interview transcript, you will write a paper regarding the classroom management systems these teachers use for discipline in the classroom.

Be sure to include the following information in your paper:

• Determine what classroom management system the teachers use in their classrooms, and describe what their classrooms look like in detail.
• How are the two teachers’ classroom management systems different and how are they alike?

Ask the teachers the following questions:

• Can you describe how you handle discipline in the classroom?
• Can you share how effective classroom management is teaching appropriate behavior and social skills?
• Do you believe that effective classroom management does not focus on behavior at a particular moment, or develop positive interactions throughout their lifetime? Why?
• Can you describe how students must be taught to take responsibility for their behavior?
• How do your students make ethical judgments and decisions?
• How are your students’ rights honored and respected?
• How is classroom management a form of guidance?
• Do you believe discipline comes from the self or from outside sources?
• How do your students share in classroom responsibilities?

It will be best to state the question, and then write the response.
