IN THE BELOW PARAGRAPH WHAT IS MY TOPIC SENTENCE IS IT THE FIRST SENTENCE OR THE THIRD SENTENCE. I often wonder, when people talk to me, if they say, “Her voice is very pleasant; I bet she is a singer.” They would be correct. I have always been an amateur singer, even though I did not pursue a career as a professional singer. My passion for singing began at an early age. For instance, as a small child, no matter where I was, whenever I would hear a song I liked, I would sing along. My love of music and singing only grew as I did. I have always been a shy and reserved person. However, my passion for singing gave me a way to express myself and break free from some of my shyness. It led me to participate in numerous singing activities in elementary school. In fact, in elementary school, I performed in my first talent show. It was a duet with a friend. While in middle school, I participated in three more talent shows. Many students and teachers complimented me on my singing abilities. To top it off, I won first place in the last talent show I performed in. Likewise, in high school, singing continued to hold a special place in my life. In my four years of high school, I participated in the chorus, talent shows, and various musical performances. My intense passion to sing awarded me the opportunity to lead the alto section of the chorus. Now that I am in college, my early school years of being an amateur singer have faded, but my passion for singing has not. These days, I share my passion for singing with my church choir. Singing has always allowed me to express myself in ways that I could otherwise not. For this reason, singing will always be a part of me.
