 As the daughter of a pastor I was exposed early on to various needs within the church. My father did a great job protecting me from most situations, but I would say early memories from my childhood fostered my desire to study psychology and be drawn to helping others. I’ve earned a bachelors degree with a dual major in Business Administration and Human Services from Wayland Baptist University and a masters in Counseling from Webster University. I am currently working on my Ph.D. from Walden University. During my graduate work at Webster University I could see the correlation between what man has developed into theories and what God has outlined as principles to live by. I was privileged to be able to do part of my intern at Westover Hills Assembly of God here in San Antonio. I realized from that experience, my desire was to practice in an environment where I was free to show how Biblical principles fit together with the counseling theories, both supporting each other. I was honored to have a pastor that mentored and supported me in my endeavor to begin a new ministry. From this ministry my vision has grown from reaching my home church body, to reaching out to San Antonio and all of South Texas.
