Assignment: You are required to submit an assignment for Managerial Economics. The assignment details are as follows: Elaborate on the various theories used to explain profit variations. Make use of practical South African examples. Consult at least 3 references. Then choose one South African company, listed on the JSE Securities Exchange, and provide a brief company profile (i.e., the sector the company falls into, a description of the company’s core business etc). Apply the appropriate profit variation theories to your chosen company and briefly explain how South African government regulation could have affected your company’s relative success. Your assignment will take the form of a typed document, arial font, size 12, 1.5 spacing. (5 pages, excluding cover, table of contents, references.)
