Hello everyone,
In terms of my project being over budget but being on time, I would have narrowed my scope and defined my resources more clearly. My scope was pretty larger and a time line of 1 year was aggressive. Being able to complete the project in 1 year was achievable if I would have been able to break up the main project into a few smaller projects. This would have been achievable and most likely would not have required a larger budget but just a few more resources as in people to focus on the individual aspects. Grouping everything into one large project was ambitious and would have potentially led to a lot of confusion and blurring of project lines.
