Intercultural nursing goes beyond understanding and requires the proper care of the cultural nurse to perform responsible and congruent culturally care (Polit, & Beck, 2012). Leininger states that after a while, there is going to be an innovative kind of nursing method which mirrors the various kinds of nursing care, that should be determined and culture based, which will be particular to direct the proper care of nurses centered on people, families, institutions and groups. It says that tradition as well as therapy would be the broadest method to conceptualize as well as understand people who this understanding is important to the knowledge as well as training of nurses.

Based on Leininger, the cross cultural nurse is a professional nurse, capable of implementing common intercultural nursing principles, concepts as well as practices developed by specialized cross cultural nurses.
