Critically Appraise Emerging Fitness Trends and Exercise Practices that Influence Health and Health Education
Based on the ACSMS Worldwide Fitness Trends Survey for 2011, prepare a 3-5 page paper analyzing the trends in fitness practices since the survey began and the implications for health and health educators.
Please include a historical overview of the survey, the various categories in the survey; how the categories have changed for example, what categories are new or have completely disappeared. What exercise trends and fitness practices are missing from the survey that you think should be included and why. Include supporting documentation for your assertions keeping in mind that personal conversations with fitness professionals are permitted as long as they are documented in the reference section. It is acceptable to use real world experience such as what you see in your local health/fitness facility that has been consistent but is different from the ACSM survey.
Your assignment should follow APA guidelines and include a minimum of three references are required with no more than 1 website. Websites such as Wikipedia are not acceptable.
