The paper will be a research paper which traces the development of a selected theory across time. The paper should define the theory, identify its source, and describe the research that initiated the development of the theory. The paper will trace the changes made to the theory across time, by whom and for what purpose. Describe the structure of the current theory and describe the types of public health problems that have been addressed by the theory, citing appropriate literature. Finally, the paper should address the operationalization of constructs at every stage in its development.
