Part II
Conduct an internet search for information on the adoption of health care IT standards. Discuss your findings, and explain the efforts described as they relate to the adoption and use of health care IT standards. Note: There are federal initiatives and some forms of legislation that do have an impact on the adoption of these standards. You may find greater success searching for government related websites, although any website is fine to use. Be sure to properly cite the website used in your paper.
As a professional in health informatics you want to stay abreast of all of the different standards and the corresponding organizations that distribute that information. You also want to make sure that you understand how these agencies play a role in compliance issues.
As you conduct your search for information, remember that the adoption of IT standards can be impacted by federal government initiatives and legislation.
