Factors that would lead to stability in a person’s life is saving for their children’s college tuition, saving for retirement, being emotional satisfied with their life decisions. Describe some of the more common lifestyle issues that have a negative impact on a person’s continued development.
The lifestyle issues that have a negative impact on a person’s continued development is health issues, death of a love one, drug/alcohol abuse, loss of income, and divorce.
Explain how a person may be able to reverse some of the lifestyle influences.
A person may be able to reverse some of the lifestyle influences by changing emotions/personality, by having enthusiasm and being determined to keep going in spite of challenges that may occur.
On the basis of your readings, describe what is meant by a midlife crisis. Explain why a midlife crisis may or may not be critical.
Midlife crisis is defined as stressful situations that has occurred in one’s personal life such as health sickness, job loss, and financial burdens. (Santrock, 2013). Midlife crisis may not be critical because the situations that happen in a person’s life may be very stressful but with family support and the emotional personality to overcome that problem the person can heal and move on with their life.

Erikson theory on miIDle adulthood is the legacy miIDle aged adults leave to the next generation that can impact society. Helson theory was on women during miIDle adulthood, who did not experience midlife crisis but midlife consciousness which helped women to be independent, self-sufficient to achieve their goals.
