Service Learning

I went to Baptist Hospital for my 20 hours .. you can put wherever you want you can imagine to do as the volunterr in the hospital.

“Service Learning is a form of education that integrates community service into a course. The goal is to educate students about service In addition, service learning provides students with an opportunity to observe members of the community and connect what they are learning to real life.

3 page Journal.

You will be proving what you learned through observing real people in real settings and then writing a journal about your observations during your service. Your observations must relate to topics taught in the course. The journal must cover the corresponding objectives of that section of the course.

• Complete at least 20 hours of service learning
• Complete a Service Learning Journal connecting the service to what you learned in the course. The journal must be 2-3 typed double-spaced pages.The Journals can be written at the end of the service learning experience or on a continuous basis throughout (recommended). The journal entries should be based on your observations and discussions of topics discussed in the corresponding chapters of your textbook.
