Once a project has been identified you will be required to build scope statement that will include the objective of the project, goals, a clear description of the project and any related tasks that need to be accomplished. Ensure the project selected is easily accessible to you; if you have the opportunity, converse with a real-world project manager regarding your project, ideas, and actions. Optional: Should you have the opportunity, acquire an external review of your project scope. It is recommended that you seek someone that is familiar with your project type to provide you with a critical analysis and assessment of your project and the scope statement. In a paper, explain and assess what project scope planning is as a process and how you plan to implement the process for your chosen project. Include in your explanation the scope statement, consideration of Life-Cycle Phases and participant roles. Indicate why you believe plans fail and justify the importance of a project charter in the project scope planning process.Support your paper with a minimum of three (3) external resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.
